On January 14 – 15, 2016, was held “Making Markets Work for Women” training. The training aimed to equip participants with knowledge, skills and practical tools for developing a sustainable gender strategies and develop gender sensitive business models, to improve the value chain efficiency and empower women economically.
The aim of the training was achieved by using participative methods which after each sessions the participants had an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills to solve a problem in their community to increase women’s participation in value chain of different sectors including textile, agribusiness and information technology.
The training was highly evaluated by all participants because it offered them practical tools and methods that can be applied in their daily work and can improve women’s participation in economy.
Training was delivered by Vjosa Mullatahiri, trainer and certified consultant from M4Success L.L.C and Artan Xërxa, trainer and certified consultant from C4D, and was organized and financed jointly by PPSE – SwissContact and USAID EMPOWER Private Sector.
